A kaleidoscopic performance that brings to life the passionate Edith Piaf and the Parisian connection. A cutting edge look at Paris with Piaf and her contemporaries.
The show is a tribute to the legendary musical icons of French cabaret, with a selection of Edith Piaf’s evocative and much loved songs, including Mon Dieu, Le Gitan Et La Fille , witty delivery of L’homme A La Motto, and hot Cuban sauce on La Foule… Also, Charles Trenét’s evergreen Quereste’til; Jacque Brel’s heart-wrenching If You Go Away; and Juliétte Greco’s description of naughty Paris, Paris Canaille, garnished with Yves Montand’s sexy delivery of Autumn Leaves, Charles Aznavour like you’ve never heard him before in La Yiddishe Mamma, Michel Legrand’s heartfelt duet, Django Reinhardt’s bluesy Nuages and George Brassens with his naughty Brave Margot…

Dahlia interprets the music of the greats with added stories from her experience, travelling the world for many years, helped by “hot” musicians: Marcello Maio’s great artistry (piano, accordion), Mark Harris’ musicality and ‘joi de vivre’ (bass, vocals), Eddie Bronson’s virtuosity (sax, clarinet, accordion)
