A kaleidoscopic performance that brings to life the passionate Edith Piaf and the Parisian connection. A cutting edge look at Paris 30s – 60s. With Piaf and her contemporaries.
The show is a tribute to the legendary musical icons of French cabaret, with a selection of Edith Piaf’s evocative and much loved songs, including La Vie En Rose, Mon Dieu, Le Gitan, and Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien; also, Charles Trenét’s evergreen Quereste’til and Jacque Brel’s heart-wrenching If You Go Away to name a few.
Dahlia interprets the music of the greats with added stories from her experience, traveling the world for many years, helped by “hot” musicians: Marcello Maio’s great artistry (piano, accordion), Mark Harris’ musicality and ‘joi de vivre’ (bass, vocals), Eddie Bronson’s virtuosity (sax, clarinet, accordion).
