Winner of 3 Australian Chain Awards, Soulful Blues Songstress Liza Ohlback is launching her new CD “MERCY TRAIN with a big allstar band doing her unique mix of Soulful Blues/New Orleans Jazz/funk served with a Gospel Spirit, This stunning album has Already reached no #1 on the Australian Blues Charts in Dec and charted at 28 in the UK on debut. Liza also was in the First Ladies of Soul, Pearl-the Janis Joplin Story and sang at the Opera House in 2016-2017 for the 100 year anniversary shows of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald She has played venues and festivals all over Australia and her last 3 albums saw her receive many awards and chart successes.

Joining her on the night is world renowned Organ/piano/vocalist Clayton Doley who co wrote some of the songs and played on the album, Eric Rasmussen (Heatwave, Doug Williams), Mick Malouf ( Glenn Cardier, Melinda Scneider) Greg Ohlback (Julian Lennon) and Brass players Dave Weir (Jessica Malbouy, Weird assembly) Daniel “Ducky” Moore ( Hot Potato Band) Stay tuned for special guests!!

Opening this great night will be Matt Ross – one of the stars of the “Songs & Tales of Angry old men “ who will whip up an accoustic storm of Gospel, Country and Americana , stories of heartache, Justice and freedom and delivered with his unique Rich, voice and gutsy/Rootsy guitar.
